Uniontown, PA – Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) District 12 is announcing the single-lane restriction of northbound Route 201 (Fayette Avenue) between Route 906 and Summit Road in Washington Township, Fayette County.
The restriction is scheduled to begin on Tuesday, September 12 and last through early November depending on weather and operations.
Crews from Plum Contracting, Inc. will be repairing the landslide encroaching on Route 201 (Fayette Avenue) from the hillside above. This job is part of a $3.5M project to repair slides in all four District 12 counties -- Fayette, Greene, Washington, and Westmoreland.
Temporary traffic signals will be used to allow alternating traffic flow across the southbound lane of Route 201 (Fayette Avenue). Remain alert and follow all posted signs and speed limits. Safety is everyone's responsibility.
