Uniontown, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is announcing that epoxy overlay bridge preservation is scheduled in Donegal, Derry, Ligonier, and Unity townships, Westmoreland County beginning Wednesday, September 3. All work is weather and operational dependent.
Nightly single-lane restrictions will be in place from September 3 through September 14 at the following locations:
- Route 2002 (Main Street) – between Route 31 and Route 711
- Route 981 – between Industrial Boulevard and Freddie Road/Menasha Lane
- Route 982 – between Mission Road and Route 982/30 interchange
- Route 30 – between West Main Street and Walnut Street
- Route 30 – between Route 381 and California Avenue
- Route 119 – between Cemetery Road and Dayok Farm Lane
- Route 22 – between Ravine Park Road/Stoney Run Road to Jonnel Road
Nightly single-lane restrictions are expected to last 1-2 days per bridge.
Crews from RAM Construction Services of Michigan, Inc. will preserve 28 bridges with activities which include 3/8” epoxy-based surface treatment, minor bridge deck repairs, replace neoprene compression and strip seals. This work is part of a $1.4 million infrastructure investment.
