Brick Church Bridge Replacement to Begin in early April in Plumcreek Township, Armstrong County

Indiana, PA – PennDOT is announcing the Brick Church Bridge replacement project in Plumcreek Township, Armstrong County will begin April 1, 2024.

Route 2005 (Cherry Run Road) is scheduled to be closed from April 1 to August 23, 2024, from T-518 (Cherry Run Hill Road) to Route 2024 (Mount Union Church Road) for crews to build the new bridge structure. 

To detour, traffic traveling from the northern side of the project on Route 2005 (Cherry Run Road) will travel north to Route 2020 (Pyra Road) then make a left onto Route 2020 (Pyra/Shay Road) and continue on Route 2020 (Pyra/Shay Road) to the intersection of Route 2025 (Garretts Run Road).  Traffic will turn left on Route 2025 (Garretts Run Road) then continue down Route 2025 (Garretts Run Road) to the intersection of Route 2005 (Cherry Run Road)/ Route 2015 (Brick Church Road)/Route 2025 (Garretts Run Road).  Motorists will then turn left onto Route 2005 (Cherry Run Road) and to the southern side of the project.

Contractor, C.H. & D. Enterprises Inc. of New Stanton, PA will be completing this $1.56 million project.
