Paving Resumes on Route 28 in Jefferson County

Indiana, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) District 10 is announcing the paving project on Route 28 between Summerville and Brookville in Clover and Rose townships, Jefferson County has resumed today.

Starting today through May 22, on Route 28 between the Clarion/Jefferson County line and the intersection of Airport Road Extension, there will be daytime single lane restrictions for paving.  Flaggers will be controlling traffic; drivers should use caution.

Contractor, Glenn O. Hawbaker of State College, PA is completing this $4.3 million project to be finished by the end of May 2026. The project also includes drainage and guiderail updates.
