The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is informing motorists of a planned detour for the Route T-510 (Marra Road) bridge rehabilitation project over Clearfield Creek, Dean Township, Cambria County, beginning Monday, June 23, 2025.
The 4.1-mile detour is planned for Monday, June 23, to Friday, July 4, 2024, and will use T-510 (Marra Road), T-512 (Kolak Road), Route 1014 (Dysart Drive/Black Snake Road), and Route 53 (Clearfield Valley Boulevard).
Cottle’s Asphalt Maintenance, Inc., Everett, Pa., is the contractor for the $788,754.28 bridge rehabilitation project, which includes three locations. The project is expected to be completed in October 2025.
Roadway signs will be in place to mark the start, end and route of the detour, and flaggers will be in place where needed.
As always, PennDOT stresses extra caution in all work zones. Motorists should drive slowly, eliminate all distractions, and stay alert for direction from advanced signage.
Additionally, PennDOT reminds motorists that as of June 5, 2025, the "Paul Miller's Law" is in effect. This law prohibits the use of hand-held devices while driving, even while stopped temporarily due to traffic, a red light, or other momentary delay. Violation of this law is punishable by way of summary citations issued by any Pennsylvania Law Enforcement officer. We strongly urge motorists to make safe choices, put phones out of reach and don’t text and drive.
