Minor Delays Expected on Route 3007 (Goucher Street) in Lower Yoder Township and City of Johnstown, Cambria County, Starting Tuesday, April 15

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is advising motorists to expect minor delays beginning Tuesday, April 15, 2025, along Route 3007 (Goucher Street/D Street Extension/D Street) at Furnari Avenue and the area between Norton Road and Aspen Way/Burkhard Street in Lower Yoder Township, Cambria County.

From April 15 to June 6, 2025, single-lane closures under standard daylight flagging operations, and delays of up to 15 minutes will be experienced on Route 3007 (Goucher Street/D Street Extension/D Street) at Furnari Avenue for sight-distance and drainage work, and in the area between Norton Road and Aspen Way/Burkhard Street for box culvert repairs and curbing work.

As always, PennDOT stresses extra caution in all work zones. Motorists should drive slowly, eliminate all distractions, and stay alert for direction from advanced signage and flaggers.   

HRI, Inc., State College, Pa., is the contractor for the 1.5-mile, $3,016,909 project, which includes resurfacing, culvert preservation, and slide correction on Route 3007 (Goucher Street/D Street Extension/D Street) from T-377 (Westgate Drive) to Route 56 in Lower Yoder Township and City of Johnstown, Cambria County.
