Shoulder, Embankment Reconstruction Begins December 4 at U.S. 30/U.S. 322 Interchange in Caln Township

King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that shoulder and embankment reconstruction will begin on Monday, December 4, along a section of ramp from the U.S. 30 Bypass to U.S. 322 (Horseshoe Pike) in Caln Township, Chester County.

Beginning Monday, December 4, through early January 2024, the spur ramp, located at the end of the eastbound U.S. 30 Bypass ramp to eastbound U.S. 322 (Horseshoe Pike) will be closed. Drivers will continue to have access to eastbound U.S. 322 (Horseshoe Pike) by following the ramp to the stop sign at U.S. 322 (Horseshoe Pike) and turning right to travel eastbound.

Under this project, PennDOT's contractor will perform sinkhole remediation; install rock slope protection; clean drainage pipe; and replace the pavement and guiderail.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area because backups and delays may occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
