King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that raised pavement markings installation is scheduled on several state highways in Bucks, Chester, Delaware, and Philadelphia counties on Monday, April 10, through Thursday, April 13, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
The work locations are:
- Route 262 (Upper York Road/York Road) between U.S. 202 (Lower York Road) and Route 32 (River Road) in Solebury and Buckingham townships, Bucks County;
- U.S. 1 (Kennett Oxford Bypass) between Route 796 (Jennersville Road) and Route 41 (Gap Newport Pike) in Penn and London Grove townships, Chester County;
- North Valley Road between U.S. 30 (Lancaster Avenue) and Swedesford Road in Tredyffrin Township, Chester County;
- Pottstown Pike between Goshen Road and Boot Road in West Whiteland and West Goshen townships, Chester County;
- Wanamaker Avenue between Route 291 (Industrial Highway) and 4th Avenue in Tinicum Township, Delaware County; and
- 26th Street between Penrose Avenue and the Interstate 76 (Schuylkill Expressway) Interchange in Philadelphia.
The work is part of a PennDOT project to install plowable raised pavement markers with reflectors to improve safety along various state highways across the five-county Philadelphia region.
Penn Line Enterprises, Inc. of Scottdale, Westmoreland County is the general contractor on this $173,294 project, which is financed with 100 percent state funds.
