King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that milling and paving operations are planned on several state highways in Chester County.
Motorists are advised of the following travel restrictions:
- Monday, May 19, and Tuesday, May 20, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Modena Road will be closed between Overhill Road and Union Street in Modena and South Coatesville boroughs. During the closure, motorists will be directed to use Union Street/Goosetown Road, Woodward Road, and Overhill Road.
- Tuesday, May 20, and Wednesday, May 21, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Buck Run Road will be closed between Route 82 (Doe Run Road) and Strasburg Road in East Fallowfield Township. During the closure, motorists will be directed to use Route 82 (Doe Run Road) and Strasburg Road.
- Wednesday, May 21, and Thursday, May 22, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Strasburg Road will be closed between Route 82 (Doe Run Road) and Buck Run Road in East Fallowfield Township. During the closure, motorists will be directed to use Route 82 (Doe Run Road) and Buck Run Road.
Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling near or through the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
