King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that pipe replacement and base repair operations will close three state highways next week in Montgomery County.
Motorists are advised of the following travel restrictions:
- Tuesday, June 3, from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Mill Road will be closed and detoured between Evansburg Road and Skippack Creek Road in Skippack Township, for pipe replacement. During the closure, motorists will be directed to use Evansburg Road, Wayland Road, and Skippack Creek Road.
- Thursday, June 5, and Friday, June 6, from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Buchert Road will be closed and detoured between Pleasantview Road and the Mervine Street/Charlotte Street intersection in Lower Pottsgrove Township, for base repair. During the closure, motorists will be directed to use Pleasantview Road, Bleim Road, and Charlotte Street.
- Thursday, June 5, and Friday, June 6, from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Evansburg Road will be closed and detoured between Township Line Road and Meetinghouse Road/Thompson Road in Skippack Township, for pipe replacement. During the closure, motorists will be directed to use Township Line Road, Creek Road, Bridge Road, Creamery Road, Collegeville Road, and Meetinghouse Road.
Local access will be maintained up to the work zone. Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
