King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that pipe replacement and base repair operations are planned on several state highways in Bucks, Chester, and Delaware counties.
Motorists are advised of the following travel restrictions:
Bucks County:
- Saturday, July 19, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Route 413 (Durham Road) will be closed at the intersection with Mechanicsville Road in Buckingham Township for pipe replacement. During the closure, motorists will be directed to use Mechanicsville Road, U.S. 202 (Buckingham Road), Route 313 (Swamp Road), and Cold Spring Creamery Road.
Chester County:
- Monday, July 21, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Brandywine Drive will be closed between Route 162 (Telegraph Road) and Northbrook Road in Newlin and West Bradford townships for base repair. During the closure, motorists will be directed to use Route 162 (Telegraph Road), Sugarsbridge Road, Route 162 (Strasburg Road), and Northbrook Road.
- Monday, July 21, through Wednesday, July 23, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, White School Road will be closed between Maple Street and Homestead Road in Honey Brook Township for pipe replacement. During the closure, motorists will be directed to use Pleasant View Road, Buchanan Road, and Homestead Road.
- Tuesday, July 22, through Friday, July 25, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Northbrook Road will be closed between Brandywine Drive and Route 162 (Strasburg Road) in West Bradford Township for base repair. During the closure, motorists will be directed to use Route 162 (Strasburg Road), Sugarsbridge Road, Route 162 (Telegraph Road), and Brandywine Drive.
- Tuesday, July 29, through Thursday, July 31, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 AM the following morning, Cambridge Road will be closed between Route 10 (Compass Road) and U.S. 322 (Horseshoe Pike) in Honey Brook Township for pipe replacement. During the closure, motorists will be directed to use Route 10 (Compass Road) and U.S. 322 (Horseshoe Pike).
Delaware County:
- Monday, July 21, through Friday, July 25, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Bryn Mawr Avenue will be closed between Route 320 (Sproul Road) and Haverford Road in Radnor Township for base repair. During the closure, motorists will be directed to use Route 320 (Sproul Road), Darby Road, College Avenue, and Haverford Road.
Local access will be maintained. Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
