Philadelphia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that geotechnical drilling will occur at night next week on I-95 and I-676 in Center City Philadelphia.
Motorists are advised of the following travel restrictions:
- Tuesday, May 27, through Thursday, May 29, from 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning, a lane closure is scheduled on southbound I-95 between the Aramingo Avenue and I-676 interchanges.
- Tuesday, May 27, through Thursday, May 29,from 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning, a lane closure is scheduled on eastbound I-676 between I-76 (Schuylkill Expressway) and the 6th Street overpass.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because significant backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
