Dunmore, PA - The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) invites the public to a public meeting with plans display regarding the Route 1011 Bridge Project. The project consists of replacing the existing 60” pipe carrying Beach Lake Creek in Berlin Township with a two-lane, cast-in-place reinforced concrete box culvert. The project also includes minor approach roadway work and guide rail updates. The proposed typical roadway section on Route 1011 will consist of two 9’ lanes and 2’ shoulders in each direction.
Construction work is anticipated to take place in the summer of 2026.
Traffic will be detoured throughout construction by utilizing a signed detour. The 5-mile detour will utilize Route 1011 (Catholic Church Road), Route 652 (Beach Lake Highway), and Route1013 (Perkins Pond Road).

The purpose of the plans display is to introduce the project, display and describe the planned traffic control, and receive public input regarding questions or concerns with the project.
