Montoursville, PA – Motorists are advised that a roadway project is set to begin next week on Boyd Station Road (Route 2002) in Rush Township, Northumberland County.
Starting on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, the contractor, Gutelius Excavating, Inc., will begin work to widen Boyd Station Road and construction of a low-volume driveway near the intersection with Route 54. Motorists traveling on Boyd Station Road can expect single lane conditions with flagging where work is being performed. Work will be performed Mondays through Fridays during daylight hours.
Gutelius Excavating, Inc., is the contractor for this roadway project and driveway construction for Boyd Station, LLC. Work on this project includes widening of Boyd Station Road to improve the turn radius, construction of a low-volume driveway, paving, and line painting. Work on this project is anticipated to be completed on Friday, September 12, weather permitting.
