Paving Continues on Route 42 in Locust Township, Columbia County

Montoursville, PA – Motorists are advised that a roadway maintenance and paving project will continue on Route 42 in Locust Township, Columbia County.

On Monday, September 8, 2025, paving will continue on Route 42 in both directions between The Weiser State Forest Entrance in Conyngham Township and White Church Road in Locust Township and between Drag Strip Road and Roaring Creek in Locust Township.  Motorists should expect single lane conditions with flagging where work is being performed. Work will be performed during daylight hours. Work on this project is anticipated to be completed on Tuesday, September 23.

Motorists should be alert, slow down, watch for stopped or slow-moving vehicles, and drive with caution through the work zone.
