Pavement Marking Project Set to Begin on I-80 and I-180 in North Central Pennsylvania

Montoursville, PA – Motorists who travel Interstates 80 and 180 in north central Pennsylvania are advised a pavement marking project is scheduled to begin next week.

Beginning Monday, June 2, 2025, the contractor, Kriger Construction, Inc., will begin installing recessed pavement markings and removing raised pavement markings along the interstates in Northumberland County. Future locations along the Interstates 80 and 180 include Columbia, Lycoming, and Montour counties.

Motorists will experience single lane conditions where work is being performed. This project is expected to be completed in July 2025, weather permitting.

Kriger Construction, Inc. is the prime contractor on this $1,400,000 improvement project.
