    PennDOT Announces Repairs to Route 322 Bridge

    Clearfield, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced that its Centre County Maintenance Organization will make concrete repairs to a Route 322 bridge spanning Route 45 approximately three miles southeast of State College in Harris Township on Monday, September 15. This work will improve ride quality over the bridge and extend its service life.

    While crews complete the repairs, eastbound traffic traveling toward Milroy will take the Old Fort exit and follow a detour using Route 45 and Boal Avenue back to Route 322. Flaggers will be stationed at the bottom of the off-ramp to direct traffic at the intersection. Westbound traffic heading toward State College will remain on Route 322, but PennDOT urges drivers to exercise caution in all work zones, to obey posted work zone signage and speed limits, and always buckle up.

    PennDOT anticipates completing this work in one day, but all schedules are subject to change due to weather, equipment breakdowns, or other unforeseen circumstances. PennDOT Centre County Maintenance forces will complete all this work.
