Uniontown, PA – Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) District 12 is announcing that a portion of Route 981 in Smithton Borough, Westmoreland County will close to traffic on Thursday, August 21 weather permitting.
Beginning at approximately 7 a.m. Thursday, Route 981 will close to traffic between Smithton Beach Road and Skyline Drive until Saturday, August 23 at 5:00 p.m. for railroad crossing maintenance.

- Route 3031 (Dutch Hollow Road)
All work is dependent on weather and operational conditions.
PennDOT is not involved in this work and is providing this information as a public service announcement only. Crews from CSX Transportation, Inc. will conduct this maintenance work.
