Uniontown, PA – Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) District 12 is announcing that Route 136 will reopen to traffic and Route 3023 (Coal Hollow Road) will close for repairs in Rostraver Township, Westmoreland County, weather permitting.
Route 136 reopening:
On Tuesday, August 19, at 5:00 PM - Route 136 will reopen to traffic. The roadway was previously closed for a bridge replacement project over Pollock Run, located between Route 3023 (Coal Hollow Road) and Route 201 (Rostraver Road).
Route 3023 (Coal Hollow Road) closure:
After Route 136 reopens, Route 3023 (Coal Hollow Road) will then simultaneously close for road repairs and paving. This closure is expected to be short-term, with a reopening anticipated in a few days.
- Detours:
- Bicycles - Troup Road, Collinsburg Road, and Route 136.
- Residents - Local access will be maintained.
- All other traffic - Access Route 136 via Troupe Road.
This work is part of a $5.28 million replacement project that is currently in construction with contractor Ligonier Construction Company.
