Uniontown, PA—Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) District 12 is announcing scheduled single-lane restrictions on Route 119 (George C. Marshall Parkway) in South Union Township, Fayette County, beginning Monday, June 9.

- Overnight ONLY (6 PM to 6 AM)
- Northbound and southbound
- From Route 2027 (Connellsville Street) exit
- To Route 40 (Main Street) exit
- Anticipated through mid-August
There will be no restrictions during daylight hours (6 AM to 6 PM).
Crews from Swank Construction will be conducting asphalt repairs as part of a larger pavement preservation project on Route 119 from approximately the Hopwood interchange on Route 40 to the Fayette County Fairgrounds, and all of Route 43 in Fayette County.
The project’s scope of work includes concrete pavement and asphalt joint repairs, concrete overlay preservation, new signs, pavement markings, and delineation -- an infrastructure investment of $7.78 million.
All work depends on weather and operational conditions.
