Uniontown, PA—Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) District 12 is announcing Route 1002 (East McMurray Road) is now open to traffic.
Crews are still working in the area, and motorists may encounter intermittent single-lane restrictions through October.
Stay alert and drive cautiously through the work zones—safety is everyone's responsibility.
Crews from Plum Contracting are reconstructing the intersection of Route 1019 (Bebout Road) and Route 1002 (East McMurray Road)—an infrastructure investment of $4.1 million. The scope of work includes widening Route 1002 (East McMurray Road) to accommodate northbound and southbound left-turn lanes, along with a minor alignment shift, and widening Route 1019 (Bebout Road) to include a westbound right-turn lane.
