Pittsburgh, PA – PennDOT District 11 is announcing single-lane restrictions in both directions of Route 28 in Tarentum Borough and Harrison Township, Allegheny County will occur Friday, June 6 weather permitting.
A single-lane restriction will occur in both directions of Route 28 between the Route 366 Tarentum/New Kensington (Exit 14) and the Freeport/Millerstown (Exit 16) interchanges from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday. PennDOT crews will conduct patching operations.
Motorists can check conditions on major roadways by visiting www.511PA.com. 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information and access to more than 1,000 traffic cameras. 511PA is also available through a smartphone application for iPhone and Android devices, by calling 5-1-1, or by following regional X alerts.
