Pothole Patching This Week in PennDOT District 8 South Central PA Region

Motorists should be alert for crews working in the roadway

Harrisburg, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that county maintenance crews will perform pothole patching this week throughout the District 8 region consisting of Adams, Cumberland, Dauphin, Franklin, Lancaster, Lebanon, Perry and York counties.

Weather permitting, this work will be performed during daylight hours starting today, Monday, February 24, though Friday, February 28, on interstates, expressways and other routes throughout the region.

Motorists should be aware they may encounter crews working in the roadway. They should be alert and drive with caution through the work zone.

Motorists can check conditions on major roadways by visiting www.511PA.com. 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information and access to more than 1,000 traffic cameras. 511PA is also available through a smartphone application for iPhone and Android devices, by calling 5-1-1, or by following local alerts on X.
