King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that various construction activities will be performed at night next week on Interstate 95 and Interstate 76 in Bucks, Delaware and Montgomery counties.
Motorists are advised of the following travel restrictions:
- Monday, September 25, through Friday, September 29, from 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning, a left lane closure will be in place on southbound I-95 just after the Route 132 (Street Road) Interchange in Bensalem Township, Bucks County, for barrier removal and guiderail repair;
- Monday, September 25, through Friday, September 29, from 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning, a double lane closure will be in place on northbound I-95 just after the Route 352/Route 320 Interchange (Exit 6) in Ridley Township and Ridley Park Borough, Delaware County, for barrier removal and line striping;
- Monday, September 25, through Friday, September 29, from 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning, a right lane closure will be in place on eastbound I-76 approaching the Gladwyne on-ramp in Lower Merion Township, Montgomery County, for barrier removal; and
- Monday, September 25, through Friday, October 6, from 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning, a right lane closure will be in place weeknights on the ramp from northbound I-95 to northbound I-476 in Ridley Township, Delaware County, for barrier removal and guiderail repair.
Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
