Philadelphia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that sign removal is planned at night next week on northbound I-95 in Philadelphia.
Motorists are advised of the following travel restriction:
- Monday, April 7, and Tuesday, April 8, from 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning, a right lane closure will be in place on northbound I-95 between the Walt Whitman Bridge and Penn’s Landing interchanges.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
The work is part of PennDOT’s $329 million I-95/CAP project to replace and improve the existing covered section of I-95 and improve multi-modal connections between Center City and the Delaware River waterfront.
