King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that PECO Energy will be performing utility construction on several state highways in Delaware and Montgomery counties.
Motorists are advised of the following travel restrictions:
Delaware County
- Monday, March 27, through Friday, April 14, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a weekday lane closure with flagging is scheduled on Route 320 (Sproul Road) between Lawrence Road and Williamsburg Drive in Marple Township.
Montgomery County
- Monday, March 27, through Friday, June 30, from 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning, a weeknight lane closure is scheduled on Cheltenham Avenue at the intersection with Route 611 (Old York Road) in Cheltenham Township;
- Monday, March 27, through Monday, July 31, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a weekday lane closure is scheduled on Wynnewood Road between U.S. 1 (City Avenue) and Hazelhurst Avenue in Lower Merion Township; and
- Wednesday, March 29, through Friday, June 30, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a weekday lane closure is scheduled on southbound U.S. 1 (City Avenue) between Hollingsworth Road and Green Hill Lane in Lower Merion Township.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
PECO Energy will complete these projects under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
