King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that repairs are scheduled on the Creamery Road Bridge over Tohickon Creek in Bedminster and Tinicum townships, Bucks County.
Motorists are advised of the following travel restriction:
- Monday, March 27, through Friday, March 31, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a road closure is scheduled on Creamery Road between Sweetbriar Road and Park Road. During the closure, motorists will be directed to use Fretz Valley Road, Kellers Church Road, Ridge Road, and Park Road. Local access will be maintained during the operation.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area because backups and delays may occur. The schedule is weather dependent.
Built in 1932, the 18-foot-wide stringer bridge carries and average of 894 vehicles per day.
Motorists can check conditions on more than 40,000 roadway miles, including color-coded winter conditions on 2,900 miles, by visiting www.511PA.com. 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information and access to more than 1,000 traffic cameras.
