4:15 PM Update (OPEN): Downed Tree and Wires Closes Route 220 in Lycoming and Sullivan Counties

4:15 PM Update: Route 220 is now open between Route 405 in Hughesville, Lycoming County and Route 42 in Beech Glen, Sullivan County.

Montoursville, PA – Motorists are advised that both lanes of Route 220 are closed between Route 405 in Hughesville, Lycoming County and Route 42 in Beech Glen, Sullivan County due to a downed tree and utility lines.

A detour using Routes 42 and 118 is in place. Motorists be alert and drive with caution in the area.

Motorists can check conditions on major roadways by visiting www.511PA.com. 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information and access to more than 1,000 traffic cameras. 511PA is also available through a smartphone application for iPhone and Android devices, by calling 5-1-1, or by following regional X alerts .
