The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is developing plans for the replacement of six bridges on Route 1017 (New Baltimore Road) in Allegheny Township, Somerset County.

The projects consist of the replacement of six bridges along the route with minimal approach roadway work. During construction, current plans are for traffic to use a detour during both the 2028 and 2029 construction seasons to allow the contractor full access to the bridges.

The plans display will be conducted in an open house format. The purpose of this meeting is to provide the public an opportunity to review and comment on the proposed project.
