PennDOT District 12 Temporarily Suspends Weekly County Maintenance Updates for Winter

Uniontown, PA – With the transition to winter operations, PennDOT District 12 will temporarily pause its weekly county maintenance updates.

Maintenance Crews in Fayette, Greene, Washington, and Westmoreland counties will continue performing maintenance activities such as patching roads, clearing brush, cleaning ditches, and other maintenance activities as time and weather allow. However, their primary focus throughout the winter months will shift to preparing for and responding to winter weather events to keep the roads safe and passable.

Weekly county maintenance updates will resume in the spring.

Information on winter operations, including the annual Winter Service Guide, is available online at www.penndot.pa.gov/winter.

To report non-urgent roadway concerns, please contact the PennDOT Customer Care Center. For life-threatening emergencies, call 9-1-1.
