    Portion of East Front Street on the Bluff to be Closed Starting Next Week

    In connection with utility work planned on the bluff above the Bayfront Parkway (Route 4034) in the City of Erie, East Front Street will be closed to through traffic starting June 23, 2025.

    The roadway will be closed in the area where East Front Street meets East Second Street. Access to residences, including sidewalks, will be maintained. The closure is expected to be in place for four weeks.

    The closure is needed to complete underground utility work in preparation for the planned pedestrian bridge over the Bayfront Parkway near Holland Street.

    Additional information on the Bayfront Parkway Project is available online at penndot.pa.gov/bayfrontparkwayproject as well as in the project Facebook group.
