Uniontown, PA – Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) Engineering District 12-0, in conjunction with the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), invites the community to participate in a Virtual Plans Display of the Sugar Run Road Intersection project in Franklin Township, Greene County.
The proposed project includes the construction of a single-lane roundabout at the Route 2003 (Sugar Run Road/Porter Street) and Route 2028 (Sugar Run Road) intersection in Franklin Township, Greene County. The project will also include the replacement of the existing bridge that carries Route 2028 (Sugar Run Road) over Sugar Run with a pre-cast reinforced concrete box culvert.
Information on the Sugar Run Road Intersection Project, including a short overview and an online comment form, is available online. The virtual plans display can be accessed on the PennDOT website for two weeks – Friday, October 20 through Friday, November 3.

The purpose of the online plans display is to introduce the project and receive public input regarding any questions or concerns with the project. It is also an opportunity for the public to review and comment on the project's potential effect upon Cultural Resources pursuant to the Advisory Council on Historic Preservation's 36 CFR Part 800 regulations implementing Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act.
The project documents will be made available in alternative languages or formats if requested.
