Soil Remediation Project Next Week on I-80 WB in Columbia County

Montoursville, PA – Motorists are advised of lane restrictions next week on Interstate 80 westbound in Columbia County, for a soil remediation project due to a previous crash.

On Tuesday, May 20, 2025, the contractor will be performing soil remediation on Interstate 80 westbound at mile marker 244.6, located is just west of the Columbia County Roadside Rest Area. Motorists can expect alternating lane restrictions where work is being performed. Work will be performed between the hours of 8:00 AM and 12:00 PM, weather permitting.

Motorists can expect delays are and urged to watch for slow moving traffic and construction vehicles entering and exiting the roadway; and should drive with caution in the area.
