Pittsburgh, PA – PennDOT District 11 is announcing roadway improvement work on Route 3005 (Chapel Road) in Hopewell and Center townships and the City of Aliquippa, Beaver County is underway.
Single-lane alternating traffic will occur on Chapel Road in various locations between Brodhead Road and Old Brodhead Road weekdays from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. through late October. Crews will conduct shoulder and base repairs, milling and paving, drainage improvements, guide rail updates, pavement marking, and other miscellaneous construction activities. Flaggers will assist motorists through the work zone.
The prime contractor is A. Liberoni, Inc. on this $2.96 million group paving project.
