King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that utility construction will begin next week on Bethel Avenue under a $99.4 million project to widen and reconstruct a 1.4-mile section of U.S. 322 (Conchester Highway) in Upper Chichester Township, Delaware County.
Motorists are advised of the following travel restriction:
- Monday, August 4, through Friday, August 29, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, alternating lane closures with flagging are planned weekdays on Bethel Avenue between Route 452 (Market Street) and Dutton Street for gas main installation.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time for travel through the work area because backups and delays may occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
