Montoursville, PA – Motorists are advised that beginning tomorrow a portion of Wyalusing News Albany Road (Route 2010), will be closed during daylight hours, for a pipe replacement project.
Beginning Friday, May 30, 2025, a Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) maintenance crew will close a portion of Wyalusing New Albany Road between the intersections with Route 187 and Shaffer’s Notch Road (Route 2011). Motorists can expect complete closure of the road daily, in both directions, while the crew replaces deteriorating pipes.
A detour will be in place using Shaffer’s Notch Road, Wilmot Road (Route 2007), Tubach Road (Route 2009), and Route 187 in Terry and Wilmot Townships. This detour will be in place during the daytime only.
Work is expected to be completed on Friday, June 20, 2025 weather permitting. Motorists should be alert, slow down, expect delays in travel, and drive with caution through the work zone.
