Pittsburgh, PA – PennDOT District 11 is announcing roadway improvement work on Hilltop Road (Route 3052) in Collier Township and Heidelberg Borough, Allegheny County will begin Monday, June 23 weather permitting.
Single-lane alternating traffic will occur on Hilltop Road between Washington Pike and Thomas Run and Oakdale Road weekdays from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. through December of 2025. Crews will conduct drainage improvements, slope repairs, guider rail upgrades, milling and paving, and pavement marking installation work. Flaggers will assist motorists through the work zone.
The prime contractor is Mele & Mele & Sons, Inc. on this $9.7 million group paving project. Improvement work includes milling and paving, drainage upgrades, shoulder repairs, guide rail updates, pavement markings, and other various construction related activities.
