Road Closure - Cambria County

Route 4027 (Main Street) in Emeigh, Susquehanna Township, Cambria County, to close Friday, June 13, with the discovery of damage to a bridge

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) will close Route 4027 (Main Street) near the intersection with Paul Street in Emeigh, Susquehanna Township, Cambria County, beginning Friday, June 13, 2025, and until further notice.  

Continued erosion and damage to the bridge caused by significant rain in early May has created a safety issue for motorist and pedestrians.

A detour will be in place and guide traffic on Route 4027 (Main Street) to U.S. 219 (Shawna Road), to Route 4027 (Laurel Street) and back to Route 4027 (Main Street).

PennDOT will continue to monitor the situation and provide further details as they become available. There is currently no tentative schedule for repairs.
