Harrisburg, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that a resurfacing project on Route 94 in Adams County is scheduled to begin September 15. The work limits are from just south of Route 234 (E. Berlin Road) in Reading Township to Buttonwood Road in Huntington Township.
Weather permitting, work will begin Monday, September 15. There will be lane restrictions under daylight flagging. No restrictions will be in place from 6:30 AM to 8:30 AM Mondays through Thursdays, and from 6:30 AM to 8:30 AM and 3:30 PM to 6:00 PM Fridays.
Motorists should be alert and drive with caution through the work zone.
This is an approximately 2-mile resurfacing project which consists of asphalt resurfacing, milling, base repair, drainage improvements, guiderail updates, line painting, sign updates, and other miscellaneous construction.
New Enterprise Stone and Lime Co., Inc., of New Enterprise, PA is the contactor for this $1,191,191 project.
All work is expected to be completed by October 17, 2025.
