Montoursville, PA – Motorists are advised that intermittent daylight lane restrictions will begin tomorrow on Route 15 northbound in White Deer Township, Union County, for collection of soil samples.
Between Wednesday, August 13, 2025 and Wednesday, August 27, 2025, the contractor, NexTerra Subterranean, will begin collecting soil samples on Route 15 northbound between S Hill Road, located 1-mile north of White Deer Pike (Route 1010) and Allenwood. Motorists can expect the right (driving) lane to be restricted where work is being performed. Work will be performed Monday through Friday during daylight hours.
Motorists should be alert, slow down, and drive with caution. The samples are being collected as part of the study phase for a future transportation project.
