Pipe Replacement Project Next Week on Pottsgrove Road in Liberty Township, Montour County

Montoursville, PA – Motorists are advised a pipe replacement project will take place next week on Pottsgrove Road (Route 3004) in Liberty Township, Montour County, weather permitting.

Beginning Wednesday, September 10, 2025, through Friday, September 12, 2025, a Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) maintenance crew will be replacing a pipe and performing repairs on Pottsgrove Road between Liberty Valley Drive (Route 642) and 300-feet east of the intersection with Rine Road.

Pottsgrove Road will be closed during daylight hours while work is taking place. A daytime detour using Liberty Valley Drive and Purple Heart Highway (Route 45) will be in effect. School buses will be permitted to use Pottsgrove Road for morning and afternoon bus routes.  

Motorists should drive with caution in the area.
