Montoursville, PA – Motorists are advised of overnight lane restrictions next week on Northumberland Street (Route 11) in Danville Borough, Montour County, for paving.
On Sunday, September 28, 2025 and Monday, September 29, 2025, the contractor, Big Rock Paving, will be paving a portion of Northumberland Street between Continental Boulevard (Route 54) and the middle school. Motorists can expect the northbound lane to be restricted between the hours of 8:00 PM and 6:00 AM. Northbound traffic will be shifted to the middle (turn) lane.
Motorists should be alert, slow down, watch for lane changes and lane shifts, expect delays in travel, and drive with caution through the work zone. Big Rock Paving is the paving contractor for this UGI gas main replacement project. The gas main was replaced in August 2025.
