Bridge Replacement Project Continues on Bartlow Drive in Penn Township, Lycoming County

Montoursville, PA – Motorists are advised that a bridge replacement project continues on Bartlow Drive (T-557) in Penn Township, Lycoming County.

Starting Monday, August 25, 2025, Bartlow Drive will be closed between Sunrise Drive and Barto Hallow Road while the contractor, Sikora Brothers Paving, Inc., replaces the existing bridge spanning Gregs Run with a box culvert. A detour in place using Barto Hollow Road, Beaver Lake Road (Route 2073), and Sunrise Drive will be in place during the bridge replacement. 

Motorists should be alert, slow down, and drive with caution.

Sikora Brothers Paving, Inc., is the prime contractor for this $830,836 bridge replacement project, for Penn Township. Work on the project includes removal of the existing bridge over Gregs Run, replacement with a precast concrete box culvert, paving, guide rail upgrade, and tree trimming. Work on this project began in the spring 2025 and is anticipated to be completed in the fall 2025, weather pending.
