Route 18 Safety Improvements Scheduled Tuesday in Greene County

Uniontown, PA – Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) District 12 is announcing that guiderail-mounted delineated installation is scheduled on Route 18 in Franklin and Morris townships, Greene County, on Tuesday, September 9, from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Flaggers will guide motorists through rolling, alternating single-lane restrictions between Franklin and Morris Township.

Bronder Technical Services, Inc. will perform the work as part of a low-cost safety improvement project (LCSIP) on state roads throughout Fayette, Greene, and Washington counties. The overall job includes installing rumble strips, guiderail mounted delineation, ground mounted delineation, and traffic signal work—a $385K infrastructure investment.

All work depends on weather and operations.

Exercise caution while approaching the work zone. Remain alert and follow the posted signs and speed limits. Safety is everyone’s responsibility.
