Surface Improvement Work to Begin Next Week in Westmoreland County

​Uniontown, PA – PennDOT District 12 would like to inform motorists that surface improvement work will begin next week in Westmoreland County, weather and operational dependent.

Weekday single-lane restrictions between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM will begin April 3 and continue through late June, as needed, in the following locations.

  • Route 8004 Ramp A (Otterman Street to Lincoln Highway) in Hempfield Township

  • Route 8004 Ramp B (Lincoln Highway to Route 3026 Tollgate Hill Road/Pittsburgh Street) in Hempfield Township

  • Route 66 between Y Conn Road (Route 66 and Route 356 split) in Delmont Township and the Oklahoma-Apollo Bridge in Oklahoma Borough

  • Route 4085 (Logans Ferry Road) between Route 2075 (Logans Ferry Road) and Route 366 (Freeport Street) in Lower Burrell

  • Route 9104 (Y Conn Road/Route 66 and Route 356 split) in Washington Township

Additionally, weeknight single-lane restrictions between 8:00 PM and 6:00 AM will begin April 3 and continue through late June, as needed, in the following locations.

  • Route 366 (Freeport Street) in both directions between Stevenson Boulevard in New Kensington and Crystal Drive in Lower Burrell

  • Route 119 (Main Street) in both directions between Willow Crossing Road and Euclid Avenue in the City of Greensburg

  • Route 30 (Lincoln Highway) in both directions between Walton Tea Room Road and Route 8018 Ramp D Road (Ramps connecting Route 30 Lincoln Highway and Route 136 West Newton Street) in the City of Greensburg

 The restrictions will be in place to allow crews to perform tree trimming, milling, base repair, asphalt paving, and pavement marking work.

Crews from Tresco Paving Corporation will be performing the work.

This work is part of a $10 million project for surface improvements on various state routes in Westmoreland County. The project is anticipated to be complete in June of 2023.
