Route 2040 Curry Hollow Road Long-term Crossover Underway in Allegheny County

Pittsburgh, PA – PennDOT District 11 is announcing a long-term lane crossover is underway on Route 2040 (Curry Hollow Road) in West Mifflin and Pleasant Hills boroughs, Allegheny County.

Westbound traffic on Curry Hollow Road has been crossed over into the eastbound lanes between Old Curry Hollow Road and Brownsville Road. A single-lane of traffic will be maintained in each direction in the eastbound lanes to allow crews to conduct full-depth roadway replacement work including subbase, curbs, medians, and new median barrier wall in the closed westbound lanes. This configuration will remain in place through mid-November.

Left-hand turns to Keenan Drive from eastbound Curry Hollow Road will be prohibited. Additionally, westbound Curry Hollow Road traffic to residential areas between Keeport Drive and Brownsville Road will access a “Local Traffic Only” lane.
