Dunmore, PA – There will be lane restrictions on Interstate 81 northbound and southbound in Lackawanna County on Monday, August 11, 2025, and Tuesday, August 12, 2025, for bridge inspections. On August 11, restrictions will be in place between Exit 202 (Fleetville/Tompkinsville) and Exit 206 (Lenoxville). On Tuesday, August 12, restrictions will be in place between Exit 182B (Davis Street) and Exit 185 (President Joseph R. Biden, Jr. Expressway.) Restrictions will be in place each day from 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM.
When encountering a work zone, please drive the posted speed limit, turn on your headlights, pay close attention to signs and flaggers, and avoid all distractions. In high-traffic locations, motorists are encouraged to use both lanes of travel to the merge point and take turns merging into the open lane.
