Uniontown, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is announcing the closure of a portion of Route 1011 (Midget Camp Road) between Tantlinger Hollow Road and Beaufort Road in Fairfield Township, Westmoreland County beginning Monday, September 29.
A posted detour will be in place through late October using Route 711, Route 1006 (Creek Road), and Route 1011 (Midget Camp Road).
Crews from Gulisek Construction LLC will conduct latex overlay work of the existing concrete bridge deck, drainage repairs, joint and crack sealing, concrete repairs and milling and paving of the bridge approaches.
This work is part of a larger $3.03 million infrastructure investment project to preserve eight bridge structures in Fayette and Westmoreland counties.
