Overnight Raised Pavement Marker Replacement Work Begins Thursday in Allegheny County

Pittsburgh, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is announcing overnight lane restrictions for raised pavement marker lens replacement work on various roadways in Allegheny County will begin Thursday night, September 25 weather permitting.

Single-lane mobile restrictions will occur from 7:00 PM to 5:00 AM weeknights through mid-October in the following locations:

  • Route 28, in both directions, between the Anderson Street ramp in the City of Pittsburgh and Butler County
  • Interstate 79, in both directions, between Washington County and Butler County

Crews from Green Acres Contracting will conduct the work.

Please use caution if traveling on this roadway. Work zone safety is everyone’s responsibility.
