Indiana, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) District 10 is announcing the closure of Moore Bridge Road for the replacement of the bridge deck in Brookville, Jefferson County.
Route 4006 (Moore Bridge Road) will be closed between the intersections of Route 36 and Route 4005 (Richardsville Road) except for local traffic. To detour, motorists should travel Route 4005 (Richardsville Road) to Route 1027 (Egypt Road) to Route 28 through Brookville Borough to Route 36 to Moore Bridge Road.
Contractor, Francis J. Palo Inc., Clarion, PA will be completing this $1.3 million project anticipated to be completed at the end of August 2025.
